Jo‑Yee Chan is a promising collegiate and junior tennis talent originally from Sugar Hill, Georgia, near Atlanta. Now representing San Diego State University (SDSU) as a junior, Jo‑Yee earned All‑Mountain West Singles honors in 2025 and was recognized as an ITA Scholar‑Athlete as well as Academic All‑Mountain West. Before transferring to SDSU, Jo‑Yee competed for two seasons at the University of Oregon, posting solid results—including a 14–11 singles record in her sophomore year and a 15–6 mark as a freshman, along with strong doubles performances. On the professional circuit, she has made appearances in ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour events, reaching as deep as the semifinals in a W15 San Diego tournament in 2025. As of mid‑2025, her WTA ranking stood around No. 1180, with a season-high of No. 1170.
