ATLANTA, GA – June 16, 2025 – INTENNSE™, the new professional tennis league launching on June 19, today announced a groundbreaking partnership with LUBU Technologies. This collaboration will integrate LUBU's cutting-edge AI-powered smart insoles and QuantumForce™ platform. It will provide real-time, comprehensive biomechanical data on key athletes during the upcoming season, aiming to enhance performance, mitigate injury risks, and extend player careers.

LUBU Technologies, born in California in 2024 and backed by over 70 years of medical orthopedics expertise from its founding family business, is redefining human performance tracking. While others focus on the wrist, LUBU measures movement from the real source of any athletic movement: the foot. Its AI-powered smart insoles provide personalized insights into health, fitness, and performance by monitoring critical biomarkers, including gait, force, asymmetry, and readiness. This innovative approach enables athletes to predict injuries, optimize their performance, and extend their time on the court.

LUBU stands out through its commitment to real measurement, not estimates, captured directly at the foot. Its invisible user experience ensures players forget they're even wearing them. Their technology is backed by a legacy of elite orthopedic innovation, having supported top athletes across multiple disciplines, NATO Special Forces, and Olympic teams since the 1950s. This commitment to excellence has also led to LUBU's selection by the MLS Innovation Lab as one of the new technologies powering Major League Soccer's® next-gen analytics.

“Tennis is a game of constant movement. Linear, lateral and explosive adaptations,” said Luca Buratto, CEO of LUBU Technologies. “What INTENNSE is doing demands a new level of insight, and that’s what we will deliver. From fatigue decay to foot dominance, we’re helping coaches and athletes see what’s been invisible until now. This is the first time a tennis league will track how each step affects performance, which will be potentially groundbreaking from a player development perspective.”

The initial partnership will see one player from each INTENNSE team wear the smart insoles throughout the season. Coaches will receive weekly performance reports and a detailed end-of-season review, while participating athletes will provide invaluable insights and feedback for future integration and product development.

“LUBU's AI-powered smart insoles will convert every movement of our INTENNSE pro players into granular, live data, which will be integrated with our Bolt6® data stream and their advanced cloud-based system," said Barry Fulcher, INTENNSE Head of Competition. "The data will be used from an analytical perspective to measure athlete performance over time and to evaluate training and player development methods. We can provide data science and telemetry to identify critical metrics, directly informing our coaches and players on how to improve performance and avoid injury. "This collaboration underscores INTENNSE’s dedication to leveraging cutting-edge technology to advance player well-being and elevate the sport.”
