ATLANTA, GA – August 7, 2025 – INTENNSE™ Tennis, which concludes its inaugural season this weekend, today announced the appointment of Barry Fulcher as its first League Commissioner. Fulcher, who currently serves as the league's Head of Competition, will assume this cornerstone leadership role as INTENNSE prepares for significant expansion heading into the 2026 season.
As Commissioner, Fulcher will be responsible for leading the sport-side execution of the league, with a focus on a transformative vision for players, fans, and global audiences. Fulcher's role will involve championing rule evolution, integrating cutting-edge technology, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and athlete-centered culture. He will be tasked with ensuring operational integrity, competition oversight, and alignment with the league's mission to deliver electrifying, scalable, and sustainable experiences.
Fulcher brings extensive and multi-dimensional expertise to INTENNSE. His distinguished career includes building international professional tours, developing rigorous coaching certification structures, and consistently championing innovation within the sport. As a former ATP-ranked player, established coach, and proven tour director, Fulcher's experience spans the full spectrum of tennis, encompassing the design and execution of high-performance programs and progressive competitive formats.
