Female Players Make Their Mark at the INTENNSE Season Halfway Point

ATLANTA, GA, July 8, 2026 — INTENNSE was built on the premise that all players compete as equals, with every arc carrying identical scoring weight and a team's success structurally tied to the performance of all contributors.

Through four weeks of the 2026 season, the league's female players are running up the numbers and turning in some of the most electric performances of the year.

While only competing head to head in mixed doubles, all players compete in the same match under identical conditions. The 2026 season has shown what that format makes possible: women hold six of the top seven spots in per-arc scoring, including the top two overall, and thirteen of the fifteen best individual performances of the season — including the league's all-time single-event scoring record — belong to female players. Female players also lead the league in 2PT production, serving, 2PT efficiency, and defensive discipline. ** AT THE TOP**

At the top of the INTENNSE scoring leaderboard sits Sofia Cabezas of the Outriders. Through five matches, Cabezas has accumulated 259.0 season points at an average of 51.8 per match — the highest scoring average in the league among all players who have appeared in five or more matches. Cabezas also leads all players in 2PT production, averaging 9.4 two-point conversions per match, and ranks third in serving at 42.4 serve points per match.

Cabezas has posted two of the four highest single-match scores of the 2026 season: a 64.0-point performance against the Ridge in Week Two, and another 64.0-point output against Fortune in Week Four. No other player in the league has produced two matches at that level. She has not dipped below 40 points in any match.

“Being one of the top female scorers in the league is definitely great, but what makes me happiest is knowing that my performance has helped my team compete and earn wins, said Cabezas. “My main focus in every ARC is to do whatever I can to contribute and help us come out with a W.”

SIX OF THE TOP SEVEN SCORERS PER ARC ARE WOMEN

With an uneven number of arcs played per team, per-arc scoring average is the most equitable method for determining individual player performance at midseason.

Carson Tanguilig of Rise leads the league with 223.0 points across four matches and a 55.8 per-match average. Tanguilig also ranks first among female players in serving at 45.2 serve points per match and third in 2PT production at 8.9 per match. She holds the league's all-time single-match scoring record: a 71.0-point effort against Altitude in Week Two, the highest individual output in INTENNSE history.

Cabezas follows at 51.8 through five matches, with Youcef Rihane rounding out the top of the per-arc leaderboard at 50.6 through four matches. Aliona Bolsova of the Rips ranks fourth overall with 201.5 points across four matches for a 50.5 average. She ranks second among female players in serving, at 44.2 serve points per match. Her 63.0-point performance against Ridge in Week Four is the second-highest female single-match output of the season.

Seone Mendez of the Freeze ranks fifth overall with 249.5 season points across five matches, averaging 49.9 per match. She ranks fifth in the league in serving at 40.4 serve points per match and fourth in 2PT production at 8.8 per match — a measure of how consistently she converts the biggest chances. Her 64.0-point performance against Altitude in Week Four ties for the third-highest individual output of the season.

Usue Arconada of the Inferno ranks sixth overall with 197.5 points across four matches for a 49.4 average. She ranks fourth in serving among female players at 40.5 per match and fifth in 2PT production at 8.25 per match.

Dalayna Hewitt of the Smash ranks seventh overall with 189.0 points across four matches for a 47.3 average. Hewitt leads the league in 2PT production at 9.75 per match and leads all female players in 2PT efficiency, converting 68.4 percent of her two-point attempts. She also leads the league in aces, at 1.0 per match. Her 64.5-point Week Four performance against Rise is the highest single-match score of the season outside of Tanguilig's record effort.

THIRTEEN OF THE TOP FIFTEEN MATCHES BELONG TO WOMEN

In a league where seven arcs determine every match outcome, individual peaks matter as much as averages. By that measure, INTENNSE's female players have delivered some of the season's most memorable nights. Thirteen of the fifteen best single-match scoring performances through Week Four belong to female players, including the top score in league history:

● Carson Tanguilig — 71.0 pts vs. Altitude (Week Two) — INTENNSE all-time record ● Dalayna Hewitt — 64.5 pts vs. Rise (Week Four) ● Sofia Cabezas — 64.0 pts vs. Ridge (Week Two) ● Sofia Cabezas — 64.0 pts vs. Fortune (Week Four) ● Seone Mendez — 64.0 pts vs. Altitude (Week Four) ● Aliona Bolsova — 63.0 pts vs. Ridge (Week Four) ● Ema Burgic — 61.0 pts vs. Freeze (Week One) ● Usue Arconada — 56.0 pts vs. Outriders (Week Four) ● Aliona Bolsova — 56.0 pts vs. Outriders (Week Three) ● Usue Arconada — 55.5 pts vs. Rips (Week Two) ● Carson Tanguilig — 55.0 pts vs. Smash (Week Four) ● Aliona Bolsova — 53.5 pts vs. Fortune (Week Two) ● Seone Mendez — 53.0 pts vs. Sting (Week Three) Finn Murgett's 65.0-point Week One performance and Raul Garcia's 59.0-point Week Three performance round out the top fifteen, underscoring the depth of talent across the league.

WHERE THEY ARE STANDING OUT

Female players top the stats boards in overall scoring, 2PT production, serving, 2PT efficiency, and peak performances. They also lead in defensive discipline: Carly Briggs of Rise tops all qualified players in fewest points allowed per match at 16.9, and Jessica Hinojosa of the Sting leads all female players in fewest 2PT conversions allowed per match at 3.0. Zoe Hammond of the Outriders leads all female players in scoring efficiency at 1.42 points per serve attempt.

Freeze (4-1) and Sting (3-1) are both powered by dominant female top-of-rotation performers. Fortune (3-1) has two women — Rodriguez and Lacasse — among its top four scorers all season. Rise's Tanguilig holds the all-time scoring record. Inferno's Arconada has been the team's most consistent individual contributor through four matches.

"When you put men and women on the same court, in the same match, competing for the same result, you find out which players are having the biggest impact out there," said Commissioner Barry Fulcher. "Right now, through four weeks, the data highlights that the top three scorers in this league are women, seven of the top nine are women, and thirteen of the top fifteen individual performances belong to women. These are significant numbers and reflect what our female players have brought to the table this season, and it's exactly the kind of competition we built this league to showcase."
