Atlanta’s premier sports medicine program enters its second season as the Official Healthcare and Sports Medicine Provider
Building on the foundation established during INTENNSE’s inaugural season, Emory Sports Medicine will provide comprehensive on-site medical oversight and performance services throughout the 2026 season, running June 5 through August 1 at Assembly Studios in Doraville, Georgia. The program will be led by Dr. Neeru Jayanthi – Director of Emory’s Tennis Medicine Program and one of the nation’s leading experts in tennis medicine – who will serve as Chief Medical Officer of the league, alongside Tony Tran as Head Athletic Trainer. Together, they will oversee all sports medicine operations for INTENNSE players, coaches, and staff. During the 2026 season, INTENNSE athletes will have access to Emory Sports Medicine’s nationally recognized tennis medicine program and a multidisciplinary team of physicians, athletic trainers, and physical therapists with deep experience caring for elite and high-performance athletes. Emory’s team will provide on-site medical coverage during matches and training, injury evaluation and treatment, rehabilitation support, and access to specialty care across the Emory Healthcare network.
